With the aim of raising students’ legal awareness of issues related to early marriage, the sixteenth legal awareness session was held for students of Gasha High School.
The activity was carried out as part of the “Reducing Early Marriage” project, in coordination with the Ministry of Education – Sulaymaniyah General Directorate of Education. It was organized by the Investigator Organization for Supporting Rule of Law and Democracy (IOL), in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and with financial support from UK Aid.
The session addressed the legal and social aspects of early marriage, with discussions focusing on its implications and the importance of proper understanding and legal awareness among students.
