As part of the ongoing activities of the “Reducing Early Marriage” project, the ninth legal awareness session was held for students of Aras Girls’ High School. The activity was conducted by the Investigator Organization for Supporting Rule of Law and Democracy (IOL), in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), with financial support from UK Aid, and in coordination with the Ministry of Education – Erbil General Directorate of Education.
The session focused on raising students’ legal awareness and enhancing their understanding of the legal and social issues and challenges related to early marriage.
