As part of the implementation of the “Provision of Legal Services for Survivors of Violence in the Private Sector” project, the Investigator Organization for Supporting Rule of Law and Democracy (IOL), in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and with financial support from the Government of the United Kingdom (UK Aid), sent a delegation to meet with Mr. Bland Mohammed Mawlood, Director General of Companies Registration, on 27 June 2024.
The delegation included Peshwa Hesamuddin, Deputy Director of the Organization, Umed Rasul, Project Manager, and Vian Mohammed, Project Coordinator. During the visit, the participants discussed organizing a number of workshops for national companies in the areas of law and human resources, as well as the coordination and cooperation frameworks required to implement these activities.
In the second part of the meeting, the Project Manager presented the project’s main content and objectives. The discussion also addressed the role of civil society organizations and institutions in strengthening the rule of law and advancing cooperation among relevant stakeholders.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Bland Mohammed welcomed the project and reaffirmed his support for its successful implementation.
