On 10 July 2024, a delegation from the Investigator Organization for Supporting Rule of Law and Democracy (IOL), comprising Mr. Peshawa Hussam Al-Din, Deputy Chairman of the Board, Ali Abdulrahman, Head of Projects, Advocate Awder Anwar, Head of the Relations Department, and Vian Mohammed and Gulala Mazhar, Project Coordinators, visited the General Directorate for Combating Violence against Women and Family.
The delegation was received by the Director General of the Directorate. During the meeting, Mr. Peshawa Hussam Al-Din presented the organization’s role, projects, and activities in areas related to violence against women and domestic violence.
For its part, the General Directorate expressed its appreciation for and support of the organization’s projects and activities in this field, emphasizing the importance of the role of civil society organizations in addressing these issues. It also expressed its readiness to cooperate and engage in joint work with the Investigator Organization.
