The fourteenth legal awareness session was held for students of Sham Girls’ High School as part of the “Reducing Early Marriage” project. The session was organized by the Investigator Organization for Supporting Rule of Law and Democracy (IOL), in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and with financial support from UK Aid, in coordination with the Ministry of Education – Erbil General Directorate of Education.
The session covered key legal issues related to early marriage, with a focus on the importance of legal awareness and students’ proper understanding of the different aspects of this issue.
This activity is part of the project’s ongoing awareness-raising activities, which aim to increase legal awareness and enhance students’ understanding of issues related to early marriage across schools in the Kurdistan Region.
