Conducting a Legal Awareness Training Course for Civil Society Activists

On 1 May 2023, the Investigator Organization for supporting role of law and Democracy (IOL), in partnership with Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA), organized a legal awareness training course for civil society activists on the rights of the accused during the investigation and trial stages, within the framework of the project “Strengthening the Rule of Law and Increasing the Participation of Youth and Women in the Decision-Making Process in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.”
The course was held in Baghdad, with the participation of 27 civil society activists from across Iraq.
