Reduce the Phenomenon of Early Marriage
Within the framework of the project to reduce the phenomenon of early marriage, the Investigator Organization for the Rule of Law Organization (IOL), in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and with financial support from the (UK-Aid), and with presence of Ms. (Deeman Awrmzyar) UNFPA Representative, organized a two-day training course for School directors and deputies. The training was entitled “Training to raise awareness of the Legal, Social and Psychological Knowledge of School directors and Deputies in Erbil on reducing early marriage”, and was held from September 16 to 17, 2024. The training aimed to raise awareness among school students and their parents about the issues of early marriage. The course was managed by trainers, (Payraw Anwar and Youssef Othman). At the end of the course, certificates of participation were distributed to all participants.
