reduce the prevalence of early marriage

On December 17, 2024, within the framework of the project to reduce the prevalence of early marriage, the Investigator Organization for Rule of Law in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and with financial support from the UK Government’s International Development Department (UK-Aid), organized a legal awareness workshop on international agreements concerning children’s rights and early marriage.

The workshop, held at the Dedeman Hotel, was attended by judges and legal researchers. It was opened by Dr. Ahmad Mohammad Amin Miran, President of the Board of Directors of the Investigator Organization for Rule of Law.

The workshop included two main sessions: the first session, led by Dr. Rizgar Jirjis Abdullah, and the second session, presented by Dr. Sundus Ali Abbas, focused on research regarding early marriage.
