Providing Legal Services for Survivors of Violence in the Private Sector
Within the framework of implementing the project (Providing Legal Services for Survivors of Violence in the Private Sector), the Investigator Organization for the Rule of Law (IOL), in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund in Iraq (UNFPA Iraq) and with financial support from the UK Government’s Department for International Development (UK AID), held a consultative meeting on December 18, 2024.
The meeting brought together representatives from the Judiciary Council, the Directorate of Labor and Social Affairs, the Chamber of Commerce, the Workers’ Syndicate, the Independent Human Rights Commission, and the Directorate for Combating Violence Against Women and Families.
The purpose of the meeting was to enhance coordination among the relevant stakeholders regarding issues of sexual harassment in the private sector and to review and exchange data on the subject.
