On 8th of September 2022, Dr. Ahmed Miran, CEO of IOL met with Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs (Barbara Leaf) and Consul General (Erv Hicks) In the meeting in US Consulate with five NGOs in Erbil to discuss the role of NGOs and the update situation in Iraq and KRI. They also talked about the role of women and youth in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq as a whole.
