Announcing the Establishment of a Specialized Legal Network Titled “The MAF Network for Strengthening Justice.”
The Investigator Organization for the Rule of Law (IOL) and its partners have announced the establishment of a specialized legal network titled “The MAF Network for Strengthening Justice.” The announcement was made during a special ceremony held at the Coral Palace Hotel in Baghdad, attended by a large number of government and non-governmental figures, civil society organizations, and media representatives.
The event commenced with a welcoming speech by Dr. Ahmed Miran, Chairman of the IOL Board, as the organization behind the concept and the driving force leading the network. Following this, Project Director Oudair Anwar gave a brief presentation on the project and the challenges it had faced, along with an overview of the rule of law indicators according to the World Justice Program.
As part of the ceremony, tokens of appreciation were presented to the organizations and individuals who contributed to the success of the IOL’s efforts and the launch of the network.
It is worth noting that one of the primary objectives of establishing this network is to unify and amplify efforts towards strengthening the rule of law in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
