Providing Legal Services for Survivors of Violence in the Private Sector
Within the framework of implementing the project (Providing Legal Services for Survivors of Violence in the Private Sector), the Investigator Organization for the Rule of Law (IOL), in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund in Iraq (UNFPA Iraq) and with the support of the UK Government’s Department for International Development (UK AID), organized a theoretical and practical legal training course from December 14-17, 2024.
The training targeted private sector employees from organizations and companies, focusing on protection against sexual harassment. It was conducted by a specialized trainer using both theoretical and practical approaches.
The goal of the course was to familiarize participants with legal frameworks and relevant penalties, as well as to equip them with knowledge and skills on how to protect themselves when facing such situations. This included both legal and practical methods to defend themselves effectively.
