With technical and financial support from the UNCAC Coalition and in partnership with the National Democratic Institute (NDI<\/a>), the Investigator Organization for the Rule of Law has developed a parallel civil society report on Iraq\u2019s implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC<\/a>), which the country ratified in 2007 under Law No. 35.<\/p>

Following one year of dedicated research and monitoring, the report was published on August 13, 2025, on the UNCAC Coalition website. The assessment focuses on Iraq\u2019s performance under Chapter II (Preventive Measures) and Chapter V (Asset Recovery) of the Convention.<\/p>
