The research and reports of the Investigator Organization continue.
As part of the ongoing work and activities of the “Enhancing the Rule of Law in Iraq” project, implemented by the (IOL) in partnership with the (NPA) and Maff Network, and with financial support from the (EU), a conference was held on December 10, 2025, to announce two reports. The event was attended by a number of experts, representatives of governmental institutions, and non-governmental organizations.
The first report, “Report on Standards and Best Practices for Fair Trial in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region – 2025,” highlighted international standards used to ensure a fair trial. It also analyzed global best practices and their adaptation to the realities of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
The second report, “Second Monitoring Report on the State of the Rule of Law in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region – 2025,” is a continuation of the first report published in 2024. It focuses on the progress and challenges facing the Rule of Law in Iraq and Kurdistan.
