We are approaching the final step of achieving the rule of law.
After reviewing the draft rule of law strategy on 21/5/2025 by members of the Iraq National Team at the Ministry of Justice of Iraq office in Baghdad, the Iraq National Team met with the presence of the Deputy Team Leader.
On 25/5/2025, the Kurdistan Region National Team convened at the Ministry of Justice office with the presence of the honorable
Minister of Justice (Firishta Ahmad) and both deputies of the National Team, honorable (Dr. Burhan Al-Qaisi) and Ms. (Shilan Arif), officials from the Ministry of Justice of the Region and Baghdad. After the honorable Minister of Justice spoke about this strategy with importance, he emphasized what is more important: the implementation plan for the strategy’s provisions. Honorable (Dr. Ahmad Mohammad Amin Miran), Chairman of the Board of Directors of the IOL, as a member of the National Team, reviewed the draft strategy.
It is worth mentioning that in a ceremony, members of the National Team reviewed the consensus on approving the strategy, which was sent through the honorable First Deputy of the National Team Leader to the Team Leader and the Council of Ministers for approval as a final stage. It is worth noting that (IOL) has been working tirelessly for more than two years in partnership with the (NPA) organization to achieve this strategy, which aims to establish the rule of law at the level of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
