A Delegation From IOL & UNFPA Visited the Erbil Court of Appellate
On 27/3/2024 a delegation from Investigator Organization for the Rule of Law (IOL) led by (Dr. Ahmad Miran) Head of Administration Board, Mr. (Ali Abdulrahman) Program Manager, (Awder Anwar) Head of Relations and Ms. (Azhi Amin) Head of Population Development at United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) visited Mr. (Judge Fakhr Sabir) President of the Regional Court of Appeal- Erbil to discuss how to strengthen the role of forensic investigators and judicial offices in the Forensic Institutes. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Fakher Sabir asked the (UNFPA) representative and our organization to establish an electronic system for the courts in Erbil. The (UNFPA) representative agreed to do this either by their own organization or in partnership with United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
